Currently, admins are not notified if a portal user is temporarily made inactive if they attempt to log in to the portal multiple times, unsuccessfully. In order to better assist the provider in real-time, it would be ideal for admins to be notified when a user has become inactive and their account has been disabled due to unsuccessful login attempts, for security purposes. This way we know the root of the issue and don't have to wait until the provider contacts us to let us know they can't log in anymore.
